The Montgomery County Development Corporation is a public/private
partnership devoted to the expansion and retention of existing industry
and agriculture, recruitment of both new industry and residents, and to
making our county a better place to live and work.

Economic Development Organization:
Economic development in Montgomery County is a team effort.
Resources and information are shared in a cooperative effort between the
county, cities, private companies and the Montgomery County Development
Corporation (MCDC). Information on incentives, labor pool, sites,
services and utilities are available at the MCDC office.
The Montgomery County Development
Corporation was founded in 1994 by citizens in the county interested in
economic development. An eight member volunteer board of directors
representing the county and the member communities guides the
organization. MCDC is a private non-profit organization funded by
Montgomery County and the member communities of Red Oak,
Stanton and Villisca, as well as, private contributions.
Services:
MCDC services include business start up and expansion assistance, site
location information, finance packaging, state and federal incentive
applications, grant writing and revolving loan fund. The office is
a resource for labor and demographic statistics and a link to local
business and industry.
